LCA specialist & Sustainability Controller

Are you exceptionally good with numbers, analytical, and have experience with LCA? Here is the job for you! You will take the lead in driving Plasman's LCA-work into the product development. You will also manage the monthly sustainability KPI reporting and produce and give input to external and internal reports, like the annual sustainability reporting process according to GRI and other applicable standards. You will support the organization with responses to sustainability questionnaires from customers and other stakeholders and respond to ESG rating reports. In this role you will report to Plasman Global Sustainability Director located in EU Headquarter, Gothenburg Sweden, but the position can be located elsewhere where Plasman have operations.

In This Role You Will

Estimate environmental impact of Plasman by conducting LCAs on a continuous basis

Be Plasman´s go to-LCA expert

Deliver LCA communication, support and training across Polestar and externally

Secure compliance and manage sustainability reporting frameworks and regulation such as the GRI Standards, the EU Taxonomy and the upcoming CSRD

Manage external sustainability requirements, (customer-specific and standardized)

Manage sustainability information and data from suppliers and own production

Work closely with our international engineering and R&D teams to support the development of sustainable innovations

Work closely with our EHS coordinators at manufacturing sites

Secure compliance with regulations and standards within the area, monitor upcoming standards and regulations

Your Profile

At least 3 years of work experience with LCA and relevant experience of sustainability reporting, preferably within industry

University degree or equivalent in sustainability, environment, chemical or mechanical engineering or similar

Broad and comprehensive understanding of lifecycle thinking and environmental interrelations

Strong working knowledge on relevant regulatory frameworks and reporting standards such as GRI Standards, GHG Protocol, SBTi

Knowledge of EHS related reporting and KPI´s as well as experience from financial and sustainability annual reporting

Expertise within automotive industry is appreciated

Ability to interact with different functions in the company and with external stakeholders in an international environment

Experience from international working environment and excellent knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English. Other languages can be an asset

Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with ability to work across different cultures, functions and organizational levels

Structured with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
